At Good Shepherd Christian Ministries International, we believe that discipleship is more than making converts. It is the process of helping believers grow into spiritual maturity, become established in God's Word, develop Christlike character, and equip others to follow Jesus Christ. Our mission is to raise disciples who make disciples, fulfilling the Great Commission and multiplying faithful followers of Christ across generations and nations.
Our Commitment to Making Disciples
THE BIBLICAL FOUNDATION FOR DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION
Matthew 28:19–20 (NKJV) “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
2 Timothy 2:2 (NKJV) “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
Our Understanding Jesus commanded His followers not merely to make converts but to make disciples. Paul further demonstrated that discipleship must be multiplied by entrusting biblical truth to faithful believers who will teach others. At GSCMI, we emphasize discipleship that produces spiritual maturity, faithful service, and multiplication from one generation of believers to another.
